To celebrate TWENTY-TWELVE and to show my appreciation for an amazing 2011 i present to you,
here’s the scoop… i could go on and on [annnnd on] and get all mushy and such about how incredibly grateful I am to be where i am at today. to be living my dream, to have had a blessed 2011… but, I’ll spare you the details, mostly because I don’t want to cry right now i’m kind of a big cry baby or that i’m having a hard time with words… whatever the case, your spared! thing is, I realize how lucky i am. 2011 brought many many happy moments for my family & i and personally for my business. sometimes i’m scared that things are too good. [knock on wood]
long story[ies] short- i was reminded many times throughout the year how blessed and strait-up lucky i am! i’ve seen people loose their jobs, loose loved ones, struggle with illness and accidents. those who sacrifice themselves daily and those who are great examples to people, just down right angels sent from above!
with all that said i feel it’s only right to GIVE BACK! i am giving away a FREE PHOTOSHOOT to one lucky person! the 45-60 minute session will take place at a pre-determined location of my choice + will include 15-20 edited images on CD with reproduction release. also included is a 20% discount off all prints. the mini session can include family (up to 6 immediate family members), engagement, bridal, newborn, maternity, model, senior, couple, children… in other words if someone deserves it, i’ll shoot it!
but here’s the catch: you have to NOMINATE SOMEONE OTHER THAN YOURSELF!! yes, you’ll be giving back as well!

What a great idea you have Chantri!!! I would LOVE to nominate my in laws Joe and Karen Eve. They are the best in laws anyone could get I think :) They have been together for almost 33 years and to be honest I dont think they have EVER had professional pictures taken of themselves. I think this would be so neat if they could win. They need a nice picture of themselves!!

Heyy Chantri! So Awesome, AWESOME idea. I want to nominate my brother Mike and his wife Megan (you actually shot their wedding!). Anyway, back in August of 2010 they lost their baby boy who was born at just 28 weeks. The great news is they are expecting another little boy come this May and I would LOVE for them to be able to have some wonderful photos of their little family.

I nominate Danielle Spencer. I know that she just nominated the birth mother of her baby. That’s just the kind of person she is! This is such a special miracle for them getting this baby, and I have never found a couple that loves others so unconditionally as Dustin and her. It would be precious to see them win!

Love this idea! So I have been thinking a lot about it and trying to think of someone I know who REALLY deserves it. My mind keeps going back to the same person, Miss Carly Wadsworth. Im sure you know her. She’s not only a strong little thing she is beautiful inside and out. Always thinking of others and never giving up! I know right now she is having a extra hard time due to the loss of her grandma, who took so much love and care for her. Miss Carly has spinabifida and is a super strong little girl, how fun to have a day just for her, doll her up, take some great pictures! And I think it would lighted her mommas day too, her mom is also a amazing woman. I admire this family so much, anything to lighten the load would be much appreciated!

I would love to nominate Karin Holeman. Her and her husband got in a wreck the day before Thanksgiving. They are both in wheelchairs, and will be for months. They are a blended family with 9 kids. I KNOW, they deserve this. THEY NEED a FAMILY picture. Karin and Barry could have lost their lives, but are still here today. I would vote a million times over for them.

They are a blended family with 9 kids. Karin and Barry almost lost their lives THEY DESERVE this. THEY DERSERVE a FAMILY picture. They have the most upbeat attitude and have relied on their Faith to get through this. I would vote for them a million times over!

I would like to nominate my older sister Rashelle Schneiter and her family. Rashelle has gone through a lot throughout her life, the lose of two babies, her 1st and her 3rd, within a week of their birth, and more recently she has undergone spine surgery to correct her scoliosis, which was causing her daily pain and heart and lung issues. She is now recovering well! And she’s even 2″ taller!!! You do amazing photography! I think she deserves to show off her new height and great family :) Good luck to everyone who has entered! As I am sure whoever wins will be completely satisfied with Chantri’s work!

Okay, I have thought long and hard about this. I wanted to nominate someone who if they won I would be really, really happy for! So…(drum roll please!) I would like to nominate our friends/neighbors: the Anderson family. Kathy(Mom) was diagnosed with cancer last year and has spent the last year fighting for her life. She is the mother of 8 totally amazing children. )I have never met such well behaved, kind-hearted children in my life!) When she was diagnosed with cancer she had two full-time missionaries out serving the Lord. One has since returned home and she has another coming home soon. If I can think of anyone who has learned how precious family truly is, it would be the Anderson family! So what better than to remind her everyday what she is fighting for than the Andersons…good luck Andersons!
Love this giveaway you are doing but I certainly don’t envy the hard decision you have ahead of you! I am having a hard time deciding between two families to nominate. I know you know both of them. The Barney Family (Amy and Jared) cause they are so stinkin’ cute and would be great new clients. I also think the Eaton’s (Scott and Abby) cause their little family is so sweet. They totally deserve something like this with everything they have gone thru with their sweet baby girl. I am leaving it up to you to choose between the two.
